When I began YinspirationArt, my goal was simple: to pursue a long-held dream of leading a creative life. But giving in to the right side of the brain isn’t always so easy … especially when you’ve spent years in sales and marketing or film festival event planning.
In this journey from Kota Kinabalu on the island of Borneo to Beijing, China and Manila, Philippines to Whistler, B.C. to and now to a quiet town on the Columbia River, in the USA I’ve found incredible inspiration in the places I’ve lived and the people I have met.
With some entrepreneurial determination and a strong belief that ignorance is not only bliss but an asset, I finally let loose years of creative vision around 10 years ago in forming YinspirationArt, offering original acrylic art, giclees and prints in a wide variety of genres. Now, after over 20 solo and group art shows, tradeshows and my prints featured in 15 retail and hotel outlets in North America I have taken my art to the next level introducing my first line of journals and purses in early 2012.
The road to Creativity isn’t always a straight one but arriving at the destination is well worth the travel. With great help from my friends, my husband and my partners, YinspirationArt is a recognized brand in the yoga boutique industry … and I am immensely happy with this creative life.
